Mechanical Spring Balance with N-Scale
Spring scales with Newton increments are suited to detect tensile forces easily, if the long travel of the measuring spring can be accepted. With the help of the optional push sets these measuring instruments can be also used for compressive force measurement. The working principle of the spring balance is the elongation of a spring effected by a pulling the handle. The elongation is almost linear to the force needed (app. 140 mm at max. force). The fine pitch scale is indicates the force with the international standard dimension (SI) Newton. |
